Your role 

As an Evaluation Program Manager, you will design, commission and deliver high-quality evaluation and impact measurement projects and insights to support learning, accountability and communication of the impact of Creative Australia’s investment in arts and creative sectors.

What you’ll be doing

• Managing the design, development and delivery of evaluation and impact measurement projects and communication of insights
• Ensuring evaluation and impact measurement projects are high quality, relevant and timely, and use evaluation methodology principles and techniques
• Working with the Director Evaluation and Impact Measurement to identify opportunities for relevant and impactful evaluation and impact measurement that aligns to Creative Australia’s strategic objectives
• Commissioning and managing evaluation projects led by external suppliers including consultants and academics
• Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to communicate evaluation evidence and insights to support learning, accountability and evidence-informed decision-making
• Providing significant input into evaluation and related projects led by external stakeholders, including state and territory arts funding bodies, the Office for the Arts and other arts and cultural organisations 
• Supporting organisational and sector evaluation capability by sharing resources and good practice guidance, and designing and delivering broad and tailored learning opportunities

Job Requirements

Essential:

• Tertiary qualification in evaluation or related field, or equivalent experience gained in a similar position
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate and effectively manage relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders
• Highly developed written and verbal communication skills, with demonstrated ability to communicate complex material to a range of audiences using a variety of mediums
• Demonstrated experience in developing and managing useful evaluation and impact measurement projects using a range of techniques including quantitative and qualitative methods
• Exceptional analytical skills, with the ability to analyse and synthesise complex information accurately
• Demonstrated commitment to cultural safety and working respectfully with diverse stakeholders
• Proven planning and organisational skills with experience managing competing priorities and projects 
• Experience working with data visualisation and data Research and Evaluation tools (e.g., Q, Power BI, NVivo)
• Proven commitment to the continuous improvement of evaluation processes, ensuring integrity of information
